Scott Allardice leaves Dundee United by mutual consent

Scott Allardice has left Dundee United after club and player mutually agreed to end his contract.

Allardice showed gratitude for those who helped him during his time at Tannadice.

He said: “I’d like to thank everyone at Dundee United for the past nine years, with a special thanks to all the academy coaches I worked with.

“Ideally, the last 18 months would have gone better but it is the right time to move on to a new, fresh challenge elsewhere.

“I wish the club all the best for the rest of the season.”
