Murray Davidson has had an injection in his hip in the hope that he will be back on the pitch for St Johnstone in the near future.
After picking up the injury early in a game against Ross County, the influential midfielder has missed Saints’ last two fixtures.
He has had the hip assessed by a specialist and Perth boss Tommy Wright reported yesterday that it is now a case of “wait and see” for Davidson.
