Swedish superstar DJ Avicii has been found dead, aged just 28.
The cause of his death has not been divulged as yet, but he was discovered in the town of Muscat, Oman.
Avicii was well-known on the club scene, and was ranked third on the DJ Mag list in 2012 and 2013.
Nominated twice for a Grammy Award, once for his work on “Sunshine” with David Guetta in 2012 and once for his song “Levels” in 2013, some of his most famous songs include “I Could Be the One” with Nicky Romero, “Wake Me Up”, “You Make Me”, “X You”, “Hey Brother”, “Addicted to You”, “The Days”, “The Nights”, “Levels”, “Waiting for Love”, “Without You” and “Lonely Together”.
Local fans flocked to see him headline T in the Park in 2015, the first time the festival was held at Strathallan Castle.

His representative said in a statement: “It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii.
“He was found dead in Muscat, Oman, this Friday afternoon local time, April 20.
“The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time. No further statements will be given.”

His death comes days after he was nominated for a Billboard Music Award for top dance/electronic album.
Avicii, who boasted two UK number ones, retired from touring in 2016.
