If journalist Isobel could put any object in soon-to-open V&A Dundee, it would be her iconic typewriter, with its inimitable style, vibrant colour and great clickety-click.
“When I was eight, Santa Claus brought me the means to write stories more professionally – and legibly – in the shape of the Petite De-luxe”, said Isobel.
“It fired my imagination and reinforced my determination to be a writer when I grew up. Numerous ribbons down the line, this led to a job offer at a legendary Dundee brand – DC Thomson & Co.”
