Financial planning expert Ann Bellingham worked in financial services for 11 years before launching her independent Blairgowrie firm in April 2001.

Now her trusted team at Ann Bellingham Financial Services is the go-to for practical, knowledgeable and jargon-free financial advice, with her business growing organically from client referrals.

“We focus on creating long term relationships built on integrity and trust, as well as educating clients so they feel knowledgeable and confident in their own financial journeys,” says Ann Bellingham. “We provide individuals and businesses with practical and relevant solutions to help you meet your financial goals. We are a local firm, here to help you!”

Keeping it simple

They know that the world of finance can be confusing so their advice is always straightforward and jargon-free, even when getting into the nitty-gritty of notoriously tricky areas like tax planning.

Other areas of expertise include:

·       Shares

·       Stocks and shares ISAs

·       Investment bonds

·       Wealth accounts

·       Retirement planning

·       Estate planning

No matter which service you’re in need of, Ann Bellingham Financial Services will keep the whole process as simple and personable as possible.

“Ann and her team are extremely approachable, they really make it all seem so clear and simple,” explains one client, who contacted Ann when retiring from teaching. “She made me feel at ease and spoke in a pension language I could understand. I don’t need to worry about anything because they do everything for me, and keep me updated regularly.”

Another client, an engineer, has found similar comfort in working with Ann: “As a retired engineer, dealing with figures and plans is second nature. However, trying to put a financial plan together was not so easy. Ann Bellingham listened to our situation and goals for the future, and together we put a plan in place not only covering our current needs but also with flexibility built in. We look forward to our meetings with Ann every year. Her knowledge on most financial matters is amazing.”

An expert team

Ann is a member of The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and The Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI). In 1997, she was invited by the CII to assist in the preparation of study material for the exam on ‘Holistic Financial Planning’. Over the years, she’s had the opportunity to mentor her peers in financial services, supporting them through study and the ever-changing regulatory landscape.

Supported by Debbie Pol and Fiona Forsyth, who also maintain their technical knowledge through sitting CII exams, the team all attend road shows, webinars and seminars throughout the year. “Ann and her team are very well organised, communicate regularly and are always proactive,” says client Sheila.

Outside of work, Ann enjoys family life with her husband, son and two dogs, and finds time to support local charities as a member of The Soroptimists (Perth).
