There was a heavy police presence on an Angus street as officers “swooped” on a property on Tuesday morning.
A number of police vehicles were were spotted on Brown Street in Carnoustie between 10am and 11am.
The activity is believed to be in relation to a routine drugs search warrant.
There was a heavy police presence with three vans on the scene at one stage.
One local said police “swooped” into the block of flats and “kicked down the door”.
Another resident, who asked not to be named, said: “We didn’t know what was happening at first when we saw all the police appear.
“They came here all at once we thought it must be pretty serious when we saw the sniffer dogs.”
One person is said to have been taken away by officers.
