Glamis Castle is gearing up to host its annual Christmas Market as the festive season fast approaches.

The popular event will take place in the courtyard outside the historic Forfar castle on Saturday November 26 and Sunday November 27.

It promises to showcase a magical array of unique gift options for shoppers looking to treat their loved ones this Christmas.

Dozens of food, drink and craft traders will be on hand, including Carnoustie’s award-winning pie makers WeeCOOK, Owen’s Angus Jams, The Dundee Gin Company and Edinburgh’s Melting Heart Tablet.

Face painting and art sessions at family-friendly Christmas market

Young families will be also be able to enjoy face painting and sand art sessions.

Food trucks Casa Di Gelato and Angus Grill and Larder will also be on site for those keen to warm up with a meal or snack, while the Castle Kitchen restaurant will be open for visitors wanting a sit-down meal.

The grounds and gardens will also be open for visitors to unwind and explore during the market, as well as the Castle Gift Shop.
