A man has been charged with seriously sexually assaulting a woman in Dundee.
Police say he is due to appear in Dundee Sheriff Court on Wednesday in connection with the alleged incident.
A Tayside Police Division statement reads: “Police Scotland can now confirm a man has been charged in connection with the serious sexual assault of a woman in Dundee.
“He is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court tomorrow (Wednesday, September 9 2020).”
Officers have also been made aware of footage circulating on social media said to be connected to the alleged incident.
They warned that sharing it is illegal.
No details were given on where or when the alleged incident took place.
