Kingdom FM has launched its Christmas Toy Appeal campaign for 2019 to ensure every child has the festive period they deserve.

The Fife radio station has teamed up with Russell Skip Hire to distribute toy collection boxes across the region, where kind-hearted Fifers are being asked to drop off donations of new, unwrapped toys and gifts for children and teenagers.

Presenter Vanessa Motion said: “Kingdom FM has collected toys at Christmas for a number of years and we are always surprised how generous Fifer’s are on the run up to Christmas.

“It’s really humbling to know that people are going out of their way to help children and families that are less fortunate.

“If you want to make a difference this year all you really need to do is donate just one toy to the appeal at any collection points, if you are able to.”

People can hand in their donations at the following collection points: Kingsgate Shopping Centre, Dunfermline; Rothes Halls, Glenrothes; Mercat Shopping Centre, Kirkcaldy; Tesco, Cupar; Morrisons, Cowdenbeath; Morrisons, St Andrews; and the Kingdom FM offices in Kirkcaldy.
