A section of the A92 southbound carriageway between the Tay Road Bridge Roundabout and Forgan Roundabout is set to benefit from £250,000 resurfacing improvements starting next week.
The resurfacing improvements will address any existing defects in the road, creating a smoother and safer journey for motorists.
The overnight project is scheduled to start on Monday and will take place over five nights between 7.30pm and 6.30am, with surfacing expected to be completed by 6.30am on Saturday.
A 10mph system will be in place during working hours, although all traffic management will be removed during daytime hours.
Andy Thompson, BEAR Scotland’s North East Representative, said: “This £250,000 investment from Transport Scotland will allow us to carry out resurfacing improvements on this section of the A92, helping to ensure our network continues to operate at the highest standard.
“The traffic management is essential to ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists during the project.
“To help minimise disruption for motorists as much as possible, we’ve planned the improvements to take place overnight, and our teams will do all they can to complete the project as quickly and safely as possible.
“We thank motorists for their patience in advance while our teams carry out these essential improvements on the A92.
“We encourage road users to plan their journeys in advance by checking the Traffic Scotland website for up to date traffic information and allow some extra time to reach their destination.”
