An elderly passenger has suffered head injuries after the bus she was travelling on collided with a van in Fife on Tuesday.
The accident happened at around 3.15pm in Harbour Drive, Dalgety Bay.
An ambulance and a number of police vehicles were called to the scene, with paramedics attending to the injured pensioner.
One person is said to have been injured.
Passenger Claire Borthwick, 31, who is six months pregnant, said there was a loud bang and then a sudden stop as the bus collided with the other vehicle.
“I was upstairs on the bus when I was jolted forward and given an awful fright.
“Thankfully despite being six months pregnant I seem to be fine just shaken up.
“However I saw the elderly woman lying unconscious on the floor downstairs with blood coming from her head.
“I’m not sure what caused the accident but all the passengers were pretty shaken by the incident.”
Another passenger, who did not want to be named, said she was in a “state of shock”.
She added: “It was a terrible fright and now just want to go home. I’m still shaking.”
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We received a report of a collision between a bus and a van on Harbour Drive, Dalgety Bay, around 3.20pm on Tuesday, July 14.
“There doesn’t appear to be any life-threatening injuries. Officers are at the scene alongside the ambulance service.”
