The equipment, described as a “large stone crushing machine”, was taken from Baldinne Farm, which is on the B940 near Ceres. It is believed the bulky yellow machine was taken in the early hours of Sunday. A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Officers believe the theft occurred sometime between 2am and 3am on November 15, 2020. “The machine was primarily yellow in colour and may have been towed away. It’s worth approximately £40,000. “Officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area on the stated times to think back and consider if they saw this machine. “If you have a dash cam, please can you check your footage as it may have captured images which could assist the investigation.” Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland on the 101 number, quoting incident 2566 of November 18.
