A sun soaked Burntisland Highland Games took place on the Links yesterday.
Now in its 367th year – and first held in 1652 – the event is the second oldest Highland games in the world.
Provost of Fife Jim Leishman joined the parade to the Links, which was led by Burntisland and District Pipe Band and the royal party.
Local residents took part in a race up the Binn Hill and the traditional gathering of former residents, known as the Burntisland Exiles Reception, took place in the Burgh Chambers.
The day saw competitors take part in Highland dancing, running, cycling and heavy events, pictured, with entertainment provided for visitors.
