Emergency services attended the incident on the A919 St Michaels to Leuchars road, near the St Michaels crossroads, at around 1.40pm. A Police Scotland spokesperson said two vehicles had been involved and were blocking the road, although there were no reports of any injuries. Traffic built up on the roads in the area as a result, affecting traffic flow into Guardbridge and towards St Andrews for a time.
