A man has told how he handed over £80 in cash to the “madam” of an alleged brothel before receiving a topless massage from a young girl.
James Saunders appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court yesterday to give evidence in the trial against Chin Chih Chang who is accused of being involved in running a sex parlour.
The 56-year-old, who has pled not guilty, is also accused of transferring sums of money to individuals outwith Scotland.
Mr Saunders told the court he found the number for a massage service at Lord Gambier Wharf in a newspaper and made an appointment.
The 61-year-old said he was met outside the property by Chang, who he described as “the madam”, before handing over cash for a massage.

He said: “I got a phone number for it. It was in the paper. There was an advert for Tiffany’s massage services or something like that.
“You phoned the number and made an appointment. They gave me a time to go down.
“I think I asked what was available and the age of the girls.
“You had to phone again when you were outside Lord Gambier Wharf and she would tell you the flat number. She then came out the flat, the madam.
“She was taking the money. I went into a room and she took the money and said a girl would be with me in a couple of minutes.
“There was a massage table and she just got on with the massage. When the girl was in the room without her boss being there, she asked if I wanted extra.
“I paid £80 on the first occasion. It was comfortable and relaxing for me. I never got anything extra that time.”
Fiscal depute Ronnie Hay asked Mr Saunders why he returned to the address if he only received a massage and no extras to which he replied: “The place was clean and tidy and the massage was actually quite good.”
Asked if he was aroused by the full body rub, the witness said: “I was by the time she was finished.”
Mr Saunders then told the court that the young girl had entered the room topless and was only wearing a pair of knickers during the massage.
He added that he went on to visit the property three or four times before it was raided on May 31 last year.
Mr Saunders also told the court that “if you pay a bit extra, you get oral sex”.
The trial, in front of Sheriff Jamie Gilchrist QC, also heard from a neighbour of the alleged brothel who had become suspicious and had searched the internet for information about it.
Barry Livingstone, 45, told how he would see different men arriving at the block of flats throughout the day and later found an advert offering massages from the property online.
He also told a friend, first witness Alasdair McIntosh, about the property but claimed he didn’t know he had visited it until he saw him at court where he “burst out laughing”.
The jury previously heard how McIntosh, 56, had been found naked in the property with a young girl when it was stormed by police.
