Perthshire’s rivers and roads remain at risk on Monday with eleven flood warnings in place across the area.
The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (Sepa) says further rainfall from Monday into Tuesday could affect “already saturated ground” after Storm Dennis brought a downpour to the region at the weekend.
Watercourses across the region – including the rivers Tay, Earn and Tummel – could overflow. Sepa say lochs in Highland Perthshire will also be at risk.
Sepa flood warnings are in place for the following areas in Perth and Kinross:

- The River Isla at Coupar Angus
- Upper Tay
- Pitlochry to Ballinluig
- Logierait to Jubilee Bridge
- Innerpeffray to Bridge of Earn
- Crieff to Innerpeffray
- Carse of Lennoch to Lochlane
- Bridge of Ruthven to Leitfie
- Ballinluig to Logierait
- Aberbothrie
- Callander
Farmland and roads across all these areas could be hit by further flooding as showers continue to move across Perthshire.

The warning for the Upper Tay area highlights Aberfeldy’s golf course and caravan park as vulnerable areas, along with the town’s B846 Poplar Avenue road.
A less severe flood alert is also in place for the whole of Tayside.
It reads: “While river levels are generally falling, they remain high and the ground remains wet.
Snow and ice warning issued for Perthshire following weekend of flood chaos
“Forecast rainfall on Monday and Tuesday will keep river levels high, and flooding is still possible as a result. The showers could also cause some localised surface water flooding.”
It comes as road closures remain in place across Perthshire.
At the weekend, Storm Dennis brought chaos to Tayside – forcing roads across the area to close. Residents of Alyth were among those on alert following the downpour on Saturday.
It comes after the Met Office issued a snow and ice warning for Perthshire on Monday morning.
