Glam rockers Slade and hip hop star Professor Green will help switch on Perth’s Christmas lights.
The iconic Wolverhampton band – whose music is synonymous with the festive season – will perform at a star-studded city centre ceremony on Saturday, November 18.
The glitzy line-up features MOBO-award winner Professor Green and X Factor runner-up Fleur East.
Other stars confirmed by Perth and Kinross Council include a tribute act to pop idol and recent visitor Justin Bieber.
Basil Brush will be performing on the children’s stage and there will be a DJ set from top designer Wayne Hemingway who was recently drafted in to help lead a 20-year masterplan of investment and development in Perth.
Last year, Billy Ocean and pop band Lawson helped bring tens of thousand of visitors into the city centre, pumping an estimated £1.6 million into the local economy.
