A prisoner out on home leave has been traced after he failed to return to jail.
Police Scotland had appealed for information after 44-year-old prisoner Paul Stewart failed to return to HMP Castle Huntly, Longforgan, following a period of home leave.
Paul was reported missing at 2pm on Monday.
A police statement said: “Police Scotland can confirm that Paul Stewart missing from HMP Castle Huntly, by Dundee has been traced safe and well.
“Police Scotland would like to thank everyone involved for their assistance.”
