Paul Sturrock will be back in the Dundee United dugout on Saturday when the Tangerines take on Dunfermline.
In a dramatic move the legendary player, who also managed the club between 1998 and 2000, has joined Csaba Laszlo’s coaching team on a temporary basis.
Sturrock, who was recently appointed United’s chief scout in England, said: “When Csaba phoned and asked me to consider this I didn’t delay my response.
“I will do what I can to help this club. I know what it means to be a player and a coach at United and I will give my all to help achieve our goal.”
