John Docherty will face Jack Cullen in a British super-middleweight title eliminator next Saturday.
The Montrose fighter had initially been scheduled to lock horns with Jack Arnfield but the Englishman was forced to pull out through injury.
The clash with Cullen takes place at the Wembley Arena in London.
The unbeaten Docherty picked up his ninth straight victory in a seventh round stoppage of Anthony Fox in August.
Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn, speaking to IFL TV, said: “John Doc against Jack Cullen is a fantastic fight at super middleweight, a British title eliminator.”
