A driving ban comes into force in streets around another Dundee primary school on Monday, November 28.
Part-time traffic restrictions will be in place for areas around St Andrew’s RC Primary.
At what times will traffic be banned?
In streets where the scheme – known as Safer Streets – is in force driving will be prohibited on school days from 8.30am to 9.15am and 3pm to 3.30pm.
This was due to begin on November 21, but implementation of the restrictions at St Andrew’s Primary School was delayed for a week.
Which streets will be affected?
The streets around St Andrew’s Primary which are affected are:
- St Mary’s Road
- St Leonard Road
- St Leonard Terrace
- St Leonard Way
- St Leonard Place
Who will be exempt?
Residents will be exempt from the ban along with emergency vehicles and contracted taxis for school transport.
All other vehicles will be subject to enforcement by Police Scotland.
Free permits for residents’ vehicles are available from Dundee City Council.
Why is a driving ban being introduced?
