Aitken Wines
In 1874 when James Aitken became a wine merchant in Dundee, he could not have imagined how the world of wine would change, or that over 145 years later they would still be providing customers with the same dependable Aitken Wines service from their Wine & Spirit Education Trust-trained staff.
Patrick Rohde took over the business in 2007, and has been developing the business naturally ever since, encouraging regular tastings and events and supporting a number of local businesses.
Aitkens meet with wine and spirit makers from all over the world to help find the right bottle for you, whether it’s a wedding for 100 or a quiet night in for two!
In 2015, we used our expertise to establish The Wine Press – a friendly wine bar in the heart of Dundee’s waterfront regeneration, with an extensive selection of wines, local beers, and food.
