A Tayside family have paid tribute to a “much-loved” teen following her death.
Zoe Matheson, 18, was found dead at a property on Osprey Rise, Piperdam on Tuesday.
She has been described as a talented musician who was looking forward to beginning her law degree at Aberdeen University.
Zoe had just completed her sixth year at Harris Academy.
A family statement released following the tragedy said: “Zoe was a much loved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and friend, and our family are devastated at her death.
“She attended Harris Academy, and having completed sixth year, had been accepted and was looking forwarded to studying law at Aberdeen University.
“She was also an accomplished musician. She will be very sadly missed.”
Tayside Police Division posted: “Our thoughts are with the Mathieson family.”
