The family of double-lung transplant 10-year-old Ruby Walker has released details of her funeral.
They have planned a celebration of the Hayshead Primary School pupil’s life and have asked all those who attend to wear something pink.
A service will be held on Monday September 16 at 1.15pm at George Stewart funeral directors in Arbroath before the brave youngster is taken to her final resting place at St Vigeans.
The family posted on social media: “We invite all those that knew Ruby to join us in celebrating her life and saying goodbye.
“Ruby would love it if you all wore a little something pink.
“We would also like to thank everyone for all their kind messages, it’s clear to see Ruby impacted on so many lives.”

Ruby fought so bravely her whole life, battling Cystic Fibrosis and three years on the transplant list.
She received a transplant in Newcastle on March 10 and was delighted to re-join her classmates for the start of the new school term a few weeks ago.
Sadly, she developed sepsis and her life support equipment was switched off on August 31.
A JustGiving page for a headstone, memorial and various charities and organisations which have helped Ruby has raised £5,739.
