Drivers were stuck in traffic jams at one of Dundee’s busiest junctions at rush hour on Tuesday morning.
A fault with the traffic lights at the Claypotts Junction on the A92 caused frustrating delays for motorists around 8.30am.
Traffic was brought to a standstill as a result of the fault.
Motorist Graeme Ferrie posted on Twitter: “Claypotts lights in Dundee are out of sequence.

Bus company Xplore Dundee also said some of its services were affected by the fault.
A Dundee City Council spokesman said: “We are aware of a technical issue with the traffic lights and we are working to get the problem fixed as soon as possible.”
It is not the first time the junction’s lights have annoyed drivers.
In 2014 the council decided to alter the programming in a a bid to improve safety at the busy junction.
The local authority said there had been a number of complaints from drivers and a series of crashes involved drivers heading north towards Arbroath road and drivers from the east turning right into Baldovie Road.
Some motorists said they experienced delays of up to 40 minutes.
