A Dundee shopping centre will be giving away vegetables grown as part of a community garden project on Tuesday.
The Overgate is handing out potatoes, beetroot, courgettes, broad bean and apples made in its neighbouring William Gardiner Square Community Garden to the public as part of The Great Veg Giveaway.
Vegetables from the Dundee and Angus College garden will also be on offer.
William Gardiner Square, adjacent to the shopping centre, took two years to complete and was overseen by Overgate operations manager Morag Dennis and the centre management team.
It was created in partnership with the college and Bonnie Dundee and Dundee, and has been recognised with a prestigious Green Apple Award for environmental best practice.
Ms Dennis said: “This is the second year we have been able to give away the vegetables we have grown in our gardens which is just fantastic.
“I would like to thank our partners Dundee and Angus College, Bonnie Dundee and the Overgate staff who have all helped maintain the gardens to not only look great but also to have produced all of this amazing fresh food.”
The grub is being given away at the customer service desk from 9am.
