Dundee woman Siobhan Russell has been found guilty of killing young mum Marie Low in the street.
The verdict was delivered today at the High Court in Aberdeen following a six-day trial.
Russell had been charged with murder but was found guilty of the lesser charge of culpable homicide. She will be sentenced in January.
She had denied striking 36-year-old Ms Low on the body with a knife at Ballantrae Terrace on September 4 last year.

The 30-year-old had submitted a special defence of self-defence – stating she had been defending herself after being attacked by the deceased and her eldest daughter Jamie-Lee at the time.
Police Scotland welcomed the conviction of Russell.
Reacting to the verdict Detective Inspector Brian Geddes, of Tayside Police Division’s major investigation team, said: “A young mother’s life has been tragically cut short and our thoughts remain with Marie’s family during this difficult time. I hope that today’s conviction provides some level of closure for them.
“I would like to thank members of the local community in Dundee who assisted at the scene of this tragic incident and those who came forward after our appeal for witnesses.”
