One of the stars of the hit TV show SAS: Who Dares Wins is coming to Dundee next month.

Mark “Billy” Billingham MBE – who has been a bodyguard for Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Tom Cruise, Russell Crowe, Sir Michael Caine and other celebrities – will be at the Whitehall Theatre on Thursday, May 2.

The former Parachute Regiment soldier and SAS sniper, who has received the Queen’s Commendation for Bravery, will be sharing inspirational stories at the event.

There will also be a Q&A session and a chance to meet the TV star.

During his time in the armed forces, Billingham led hostage rescues and helped plan and execute a number of strategic operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, South America and Africa.

The veteran will also be in Glasgow and Aberdeen during his run of shows.

Announcing the Dundee show, Billingham said: “Looking forward to meeting great people next week in Scotland.”

It comes after fellow SAS: Who Dares Wins star Ant Middleton announced an event at Dundee’s Caird Hall.
