Police in Fife have appealed for information after a spate of vandalism and break-ins to cars over the Easter weekend.
Officers have pledged to increase patrols after seven parked vehicles were targeted in Kinglassie between Friday and Monday.
They have also appealed to anyone who saw any people acting suspiciously over the last four days.
Those responsible either broke in and stole personal items or smashed the windows of the vehicles, all of which were parked on either Main Street or the roads off it.
Glenrothes Community Inspector Kirk Donnelly, said: “Kinglassie is a small village and I am sure someone would have either seen, heard or have information about what’s happened to these cars over the weekend.
“Officers are checking CCTV at the moment and speaking to local residents, however, we are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen someone, or maybe a group of people, acting suspiciously near to vehicles or in the area in the last couple of days.
“Additional patrols will be in the area to provide public reassurance and to engage with the public, especially at this time in relation to the Government guidelines prohibiting the congregation of more than two people.
“I would also urge residents to make sure their personal belongings are removed from their vehicles and that the vehicles are then locked and secured.”
