The father of missing Allan Bryant Jr has unveiled plans to leaflet every home in Glenrothes.

Allan Bryant said that he was already raising funds for the proposal, the latest attempt by Mr Bryant to keep his son’s disappearance in the public eye.

One of the family’s supporters is currently designing the flyer, with Mr Bryant acknowledging himself that canvassing every one of the town’s 40,000 inhabitants is ambitious.

“We want the whole town to know about Allan and get people talking about him,” he said.

“I don’t know how long it’s going to take to get the money together for it but we are raising funds.”

Allan Jr was 23 when he disappeared after a night out with friends on November 3 2013.

He had been at Styx Nightclub on Caskieberran Road, with CCTV footage showing him leaving the venue in the early hours of the morning.

High-profile appeals have been made by both his family and the police, while searches have been conducted throughout the town and across Fife.

However, there remains no trace of Allan Jr, who would now be 27, with his father having stated on several occasions his belief that his son is dead.

As part of his continuing quest to find out what happened to his son, Mr Bryant has purchased a second van that will be driven throughout Fife and attend public events organised by the family.

Though there remains little breakthrough in Allan Jr’s case in the four years since his disappearance, his father maintains that the family will continue its search for answers.

“We won’t stop,” he said.

“Hopefully someone might remember something new and come forward.”
