Former Raith Rovers defender Jock McStay will join an all-star cast including actor John McArdle for a post-match analysis after a play about local football.
McArdle, who found fame as Billy Corkhill in the soap opera Brookside, is appearing alongside Brendan Charleson, who has been in Coronation Street, and rising star Harry MacMullen in the touring production of The Red Lion.
The play is coming to Adam Smith Theatre in Kirkcaldy on June 15. The play starts at 7.30pm, with the panel discussion taking place at 9pm.
McStay was inducted into Raith Rovers’ Hall of Fame in 2015. He played 334 games for them and won a First Division title in 1993.
He will also be joined on the panel by John Greer, co-host of the Rovers’ Hall of Fame show.
The panel will share some behind-the-scenes stories about Raith Rovers and other football clubs.
Having picked up a clutch of five and four star reviews during its Scottish tour, the play about the beautiful game has seen football clubs around the country join post-show panels.
Its award-winning writer, Patrick Marber, has drawn on his own real life experience as a director of Lewes FC in East Sussex, helping to lead a scheme for the club to be community owned since July 2010.
The Red Lion is presented by Rapture Theatre, which is also working in partnership with Show Racism the Red Card to help raise awareness of issues such as racism, sexism and bullying.
