Trainspotting star Ewan McGregor has been thanked for giving a shout-out to the Crieff Highland Gathering on prime-time telly.
The Perthshire-born actor was asked about the historic games during a guest-spot on the BBC’s One Show on Wednesday night.
Ewan, 45, corrected hosts who asked if the event was a gathering of the McGregor clan.
He said the event, which takes place in Crieff on August 21, was a “a wonderful day out” and “brings the community together”.
