Police have asked for witnesses to a serious assault that left two men in hospital to come forward.
A man aged 19 and a 21-year-old woman required treatment at hospital following the incident which took place on Reform Street in Blairgowrie during the early hours of Saturday October 22.
Both were taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee where the man received treatment for a “serious” arm injury.
The women was discharged after treatment.
Search for witnesses ‘with English accents’
Police are looking to speak to two men and a woman, who have both been described as having English accents and are thought to have witnessed the incident.
Detective Constable Ruth Mein of Perth CID, said: “It’s vital we trace the person/people responsible for this attack which left two people needing hospital treatment.
“I would urge anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened to get in contact with us.
“Likewise, anyone who may have relevant dash cam or private CCTV around Reform Street from the early hours of October 22, please come forward.”
