A 15-year-old boy was assaulted by a school pupil wearing a balaclava in Perth.
The attack happened on Linnet Drive, by another male described as a “male school pupil wearing a balaclava”.
The street is less than a mile from Perth Grammar School but it is not known if the boys are pupils there.
An appeal for information has been launched in relation to the assault, which happened at 3.30pm on Wednesday November 23.
The extent of the victim’s injuries has not been confirmed.

Police Scotland confirmed inquiries are ongoing.
A spokesperson said: “Inquiries are continuing after a 15-year-old boy was assaulted on Linnet Street, Perth on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 23.
“Officers are following a number of lines of inquiry.”
Perth and Kinross Council said good behaviour is promoted within its schools.
A spokesperson said: “It would be inappropriate for us to comment on any matter which is currently subject of an ongoing Ppolice investigation
“Positive pupil behaviour is promoted in all our schools.”
