A 59-year-old man has been charged after an A9 crash that left two teenagers in hospital.
Emergency services were called to the two-vehicle smash near Kindallachan – between Dunkeld and Pitlochry – at around 7am on Monday.
The road was fully closed for more than two hours before temporary traffic lights were put in place.
Drivers faced delays of up to 80 minutes at one point.
Men, 18 and 19, taken to hospital
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a crash involving two vehicles on the A9 near Kindallachan, around 7am on Monday.
“The driver and passenger of one of the vehicles, an 18-year-old man and 19-year-old man, were taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.
“A 59-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident.
“The road was fully reopened around 2.15pm.”
