Two separate accidents on the M90 just south of Perth caused lengthy delays for motorists on Sunday evening.
The first incident took place northbound between junction nine and 10 on the route, between Bridge of Earn and Craigend, at around 5.30pm.
Police said the accident involved a Ford Fiesta and a Ford Ranger, one of which appeared to have struck the central reservation.
No-one was injured, but the crash blocked the outside lane for around half an hour before the vehicles could be moved.
Traffic was said to be moving freely shortly after 6pm.
However, there was more congestion in the same area at around 6.30pm when three vehicles were involved in a crash on the same stretch of road.
Again there were no reports of any injuries following the incident, which involved a black BMW, a white Peugeot van and a yellow Jeep.
Meanwhile, drivers in the area were also reported extremely slow traffic through the road works over the Friarton Bridge heading north on the A90 throughout the afternoon and evening.
