A crash closed part of the the A9 near Gleneagles golf course on Sunday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the route at around 1.40pm on Sunday.
Police said a driver had lost control of his vehicle and rolled it on the road, trapping himself inside.
The motorist was cut free by firefighters. The extent of his injuries is not known, but his condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
Traffic Scotland said the southbound carriageway between Aberuthven and Gleneagles was closed for about two hours, resulting in heavy traffic.
The route was reopened just after 4pm.
