A man has been arrested in Perth for being in possession of a knife – after appearing to cut himself on a city centre street this afternoon.
Witnesses say they saw blood at the cash point attached to the Tesco on South Street before emergency services arrived on the scene.
An ambulance and three police vehicles attended the incident that occurred around 1pm.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A man has been arrested for possession of a lock knife – it appears he cut himself.
“Not sure if deliberate or accidental.
“Still being seen by ambulance staff.”
