A fallen tree, which came crashing down onto a lorry and blocked the A827 near Killin, has been removed.
The rural route on the banks of Loch Tay was shut down at around 8.45am on Wednesday, causing major delays for traffic heading to the Killin Highland Games.
Police Scotland confirmed that the tree, which came down near the Lochay Hotel two miles east of the town, had been removed by council crews and the road was re-opened just before 11.30am.
She said no one was injured in the incident, and warned that traffic may take some time to clear.
The Killin games, celebrating its 25th anniversary, got under way on Wednesday morning, despite poor weather.
One of the highlights is expected to be a procession over Dochart Bridge at 1pm.
