Forfar have appointed former player and first-team coach Barry Sellars as their new assistant manager.
Also, Martyn Fotheringhan will join the coahing staff as soon as agreement is reached with his current club Montrose.
Station Park boss Stuart Malcolm, who was given the job on Sunday, has wasted little time in piecing together his backroom team.
A club statement confirmed: “Stuart Malcolm has spent his first 24 hours as manager of the Loons firming up his backroom staff and we can confirm this morning Barry Sellars, who only departed the Station Park scene four weeks ago, returns in the role of assistant manager.”
The statement added: “Another former Station Park fans favourite Martyn Fotheringham…is also likely to return in a coaching role, but full detail of this move has still to be ironed out with neighbours Montrose where ‘Foxy’ is currently on Stewart Petrie’s staff.
“Martin Farrell arrives at Station Park in a new position as sports scientist, a role he held under Stuart at East Kilbride, while Wayne Henderson remains in post as the club’s goalkeeping coach.”
