Cowdenbeath manager Liam Fox is pleased that his side have a Fife Derby to play against Dunfermline – just four days after being thrashed 6-1 by Dundee United.
Fox said: “I was disappointed on Tuesday night but that should not take anything away from how good Dundee United where. In the first 20 minutes they were outstanding and blew us away.
“We have to learn from that and make sure we do not repeat the mistakes that we made.
“This is a good game to have immediately afterwards as it is a Fife Derby and that will lift everyone. It will be 100 miles per hour stuff but will settle down.”
Fox will make changes to his line-up.
He explained: “We have had two tough games in a short period of time and I will freshen things up as best as I can however we are a bit low on numbers.”
