Martin Woods is expected to become Dundee boss Jim McIntyre’s first signing. The midfielder has been training with the Dark Blues and can join at any time because he is a free agent after leaving Partick Thistle in the summer. Manager and player know each other from their Ross County days, with McIntyre having signed the 32-year-old twice for the Staggies. Woods was linked with the Dark Blues during the close season but the move never materialised under the now former boss Neil McCann.
