A busy week of transfer business at Dundee continued with Shaun Byrne making it a double signing Tuesday at Dens Park.
The Livingston midfielder has joined Queen of the South left-back Jordan Marshall in making the move to the Dark Blues.
Dundee agreed a five-figure deal with Livi and have offered Byrne a three-year deal he couldn’t refuse, with St Mirren and Motherwell interested.
There is also the option of a fourth season.
The potential transfer was first revealed by The Courier a fortnight ago.
Manager James McPake said: “Shaun is a player we identified very early on as a top target and I’m delighted the club have backed me and got the deal over the line.”
“His performances in the Premiership last season and the Championship the season before make him a fantastic addition to our squad. His attitude and work ethic along with those type of performances he consistently produces give him every chance to have a successful period at this club.”
