SPONSORED: Angus is cracking this Christmas!

Post Thumbnail

There’s less than two weeks until Christmas – but there’s still plenty of time to get some presents, meet friends for a meal or a drink, or just treat yourself before the madness begins!

Across Angus, there are businesses who are welcoming customers right up until December 24, offering something a bit special.

Here are a few of our favourites.

Copper Oven

The Copper Oven is a stunning pizza restaurant that recently opened in Arbroath.

Despite being a newcomer on the Angus food scene, the restaurant has already been named “Best New Eatery” at the 2019 Angus Business Awards.

They serve a range of authentic Neopolitan pizzas, created from scratch in their open kitchen, including Rucola (parma ham, rocket, parmigiana regianno, fresh mozzarella and tomato sugo) and Diavola (spicy salami from Calabria, basil, fresh mozzarella and tomato sugo).

Their pizzas are made using an oven and dough mixer direct from Naples.

They also have an award-winning ice cream range with a variety of flavours including Christmas pudding and panacotta & balsamic strawberry.

They are open Sunday to Thursday, 10am to 10pm and 10am to 11pm on Friday and Saturday. This festive period they will be open until 8pm on Christmas Eve and Hogmanay, and will be closed on Christmas Day and January 1 and 2.

“Wishing all our customers a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.”
