Angus police are hunting the driver of a black BMW suspected of causing £4,000 worth of damage to a parked car in an early hours hit-and-run.
The incident happened in Arbroath’s Culloden Terrace around 1.15am on Saturday.
Police said the suspect vehicle would have also sustained damage and are asking people to keep a look out for it.
Constable Stuart Hadden of Arbroath police office, said: “In excess of £4,000 worth of damage has been caused to the vehicle and the driver failed to stop.
“We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who has seen a black BMW with new and significant damage to the front, to contact us.”
