An “island gathering” has been organised as part of Forfar’s annual celebration of music.
The Forfarfest began in 2011 and its fifth annual showcase takes place between June 3 and 5, with high hopes of a bumper turnout across the town.
Runrig legend Donnie Munro has been booked for the main event at the town’s Reid Hall on the opening night.
Organiser Ewan Philip said: “We have booked a stellar line-up of top-level Scottish musicians from the Western Isles, in a hope of bringing both high-quality musicians and bands to Forfar.
“This will complement the amazing local talent and bring a variety of Scottish flavour to the festival.”
