Fourteen McDonald’s restaurants in Tayside and Fife have today reopened for dine-in customers.

The fast food chain will allow customers to sit in and eat their meals for the first time since coronavirus lockdown began in March.

New rules to prevent the spread of the virus in the restaurants include table service and social distancing, with diners also being asked to leave their contact details.

Hand sanitisers will be at the door and only a certain number of people will be allowed inside – which could result in a queue.
