SNP Dundee West MP Chris Law has been one of the most prominent advocates for the new route and he is expected to be on the first flight.
Scotland Office Minister Andrew Dunlop has said he was “really pleased” the UK Government had been able to invest in the new Dundee to Amsterdam route.
