Taysiders have fallen in love with a cat which was left for dead on the streets of Dundee. Concerned residents discovered the abandoned male cat, dubbed “Angus” by rescuers, and were shocked by its condition. Tragic Angus was found covered with fleas and soaked in his own urine. His battered body was covered in sores and all the teeth on one side of his face were broken. Members of Angus Cat Rescue quickly investigated treatment options for Angus and were told it would cost up to £2000 per month to care for him. Dismayed, volunteers set up a fundraising page to save him. Donations have been pouring in since, with generous locals already exceeding a fundraising target of £500 in less than 24 hours.
