A Dundee man has died following a motorcycle collision in Stirlingshire on Saturday afternoon.
Scott Forbes, 49, was travelling west on his Honda CBR Fireblade along the A85 when the incident happened, about 1.5 miles east of Lochearnhead.
Police closed the road for around six hours after the crash to conduct their investigation and are appealing for people who were in the area at the time to contact them.
Sgt Ruth Aitchison, from the Road Policing Unit in Stirling, said: “This has been a tragic incident where a motorcyclist has sadly died.
“We are currently working to establish the circumstances surrounding this incident and ask that anyone who was on the A85 on Saturday afternoon and believe they have information relevant to this investigation, please contact us.”
